A supplier in the maintenance and operations space had strong products, satisfied Big Box retail customers, and a subscription model - but growth had stalled. Sales cycles were too long, margins were thin, and product usage varied too widely. That variability made scaling reliably almost impossible.
The Solution
Instead of doubling down on product sales, we advised the company to launch a branded service arm - which we then built with them. We led the strategic development, created the brand identity, designed the logo and marketing materials, identified high-potential prospects, and spearheaded initial market outreach. The new offering leveraged their team and products to deliver upfront service, train customer staff, and set both the client and their customers up for long-term success. It was positioned as a value-add, not a replacement - building confidence and boosting recurring product revenue.
